hi jamie, whats your views regarding changing darts.i know some of the top pros change darts ie anderson changed to smooth when he joined unicorn, but im sure he played with ringed darts in the recently televised players championship. suely if one is playing well with a certain set then why change ? is it for the sake of there sponsors ?

It's down to personal choice. Gary's smooth darts had more grip than you could imagine even though there was no rings or knurling. A player usually dictates to the sponsors what they want and normally they manufacture what you ask of them.

I think in Gary's case he went back to his old darts as the smooth darts perhaps didn't give him the improvement that he wanted.

Hope this answers your question.

Jabba.
